Sam Castell-Ward
Sam is a singer-songwriter and poet from East London. He has a desire for the world to be just and for music to be creative.
Bringing you distinct folk punk, Sam’s songs give a direct and personal perspective on major issues. He addresses inequality head on; targeting themes like corruption, austerity and discrimination.
A Mere Grain of Sand
Inspired by grunge, alt rock and metal. Songs written from deep and personal matters accompanied by a dark ambience. Has performed at various gigs across London for nearly decade and now resurfacing after a lengthy hiatus.

A contemporary folk artist from East London. Characterised by emotive vocals and confessional songwriting, her music tells stories of relationships, loss and resilience. It is rooted in memories of the places she has lived in and loved.
