Hannah is an advisor for a live-in care company, enabling people to live with support in their own homes rather than in an institution. Hannah worked at Heart n Soul for eight (happy) years, enabling her to bring valuable and direct experience to her role as a Trustee.
Kate Linsky, Chair of Trustees
Kate has worked in health and social care for over 25 years and has a wealth of experience in national policy direction and local practice. She currently leads the Mental Health programme at the NDTi, a national not for profit organisation based in Bath.
Lilly Cook, Trustee
Lilly has been part of Heart n Soul for 9 years. She has been involved in a number of Heart n Soul projects including the Media Team, SoundLab and Radio. She is a freelance journalist. Visit Lilly's websitehere
Mark Burgess, Vice Chair
Mark has been involved with Heart n Soul for over 25 years. He has been involved in many aspects of the organisation including performance, production and co-leading activity sessions. Mark is also an Ambassador for Phoenix Community Housing.
Michael is an award-winning composer. Last year he released his critically acclaimed debut album Tangled Symmetry. He has also won an Emmy for his work on the BBC series Sherlock. Find out more about Michael here.
Pino Frumiento MBE, Trustee
Pino co-founded Heart n Soul in 1986. He has had a successful songwriting career performing across the world. Pino was awarded an MBE in 2010 for his services to disability arts. Pino is also part of the core team working on our research project Heart n Soul at the Hub at Wellcome Collection. Find out more about Pino here.
Shalim Ali, Trustee
Shalim first joined Heart n Soul in 2006 and has been involved in DJing and a number of media projects. Shalim is also a Quality Checker for social care charity Choice Support and an advocate for Learning Disability England. Visit Shalim's website here.
Simon Platz, Treasurer
Simon has been part of Heart n Soul for over 30 years. He is Managing Director and owner of the independent music publishing companyBucks Music Group.
Sue is a Disability Advisor at Imperial College London. Previous roles include Senior Strategy Officer Diversity (Disability) at Arts Council England and Disability Services Co-ordinator at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
Tim is Director of Products for Music Production Software at Native Instruments, leaders in digital music creation and performance. He is an advocate for accessible Music Technology and a long-time SoundLab Play Space attendee and partner.
