Too Hot For Candy

Moving On!

They’ve been funky, they’ve been fun. They’ve been smooth, they’ve been sophisticated. Rocking out, staying in, laying it down, tearing it up, full of love, soul and expression, and always here to Jam with YOU.

They have journeyed together for over a decade, brought joy to many sharing their sound for all to see. Feel them in your boots, hold them in your heart and have them heal your worries. They will be missed, they will be remembered. They may be moving on, but they will still be around. They will always be Too Hot For Candy.

More about Too Hot For Candy

Too Hot for Candy were a dynamic trio made up of Kali, Arthur and Isaac. Their self-described “way funky” sound fused infectious rhythms, big beats and playful energy. The bank took inspiration from icons like Prince and Sly and the Family Stone. Their music brought an irresistible sense of fun to every performance.

In 2017 they released their debut EP, quickly becoming favourites at Heart n Soul events. These included the Beautiful Octopus Club Festival, Squidz Club and the Big 30 Summer Takeover. They also performed at venues across the UK such as The Rock House and Blue Camel Club in Brighton.

In 2018 they collaborated with award-winning beatboxer Grace Savage through Heart n Soul’s SoundLab project. The result was their 2018 single Piece of Me. Produced using Korg technology, the track was accompanied by a vibrant music video. It featured the group and Grace as office workers. In it saw them bringing joy to their daily grind through music.

The band’s legacy lives on through their final album Moving On. Ten “way funky” hits including, as they put it, “the best song you’ve ever heard about a Tuesday!”.
