Volunteering at Heart n Soul offers the chance to gain event experience at an award-winning organisation, support vulnerable adults and make new friends.

We are currently looking for the following:

Taking Part Volunteers

Taking Part Volunteers help at our Allsorts and Choir sessions at the Albany in Deptford on Thursday daytimes.

Event Volunteers

Event Volunteers help at club nights in the Deptford area and sometimes other parts of London. These events are not as regular as the taking part opportunities and would suit someone looking for a more casual commitment.

All other volunteering opportunities, including Saturday’s at Do Your Own Thing are fully booked.

Volunteering might involve any of the following things:

  • Supporting participants to take part in different creative activities

  • Welcoming people as they arrive or leave the event

  • Helping to evaluate and collect feedback

  • Supporting session leaders in activity delivery

In addition to valuable experience, we offer volunteers:

  • Travel expenses

  • A free, enhanced DBS check

  • 15% off the Heart n Soul Shop
