Lizzie is one of Heart n Soul’s key artists. She uses music to touch people's lives.
Lizzie launched her debut album Loud and Proud in October 2009 and made history as the first solo artist with a learning disability to release an album to the general public. In November 2010 Lizzie won the Radar Arts Award for her musical achievements.
Loud and Proudfeatures a range of musical styles including pop, soul, dance and jazz. Lizzie wrote all the songs on the album and worked with a number of talented professional musicians and artists to create her own unique sound. These included keyboardist/vocalist Charles Stuart, who tours with Grace Jones (and is part of The Fish Police) and drummer Robbie Fordjour, who performs with legendary jazz artist Courtney Pine. Lizzie’s ultimate dream is to win a MOBO award (Music of Black Origin).
Lizzie has toured the UK performing to thousands of people at gigs, festivals and Heart n Soul events like The Beautiful Octopus Club. She is currently working on material for her second album. See her performing one of her new tracks here.
